MANUELA JARRY 

FOUNDER Manuela is the founder, designer and creative director of Dora Nola. She loves bold, colourful fashion, and started Dora Nola as a way to unleash her ideas and creativity into the fashion world. She lives in La Prairie, Quebec with her daughter and husband. PHOTOGRAPHER | Genie is a creative professional specializing in photography and print design, and has been in the business for over 10 years. Originally from the east coast, her career path led her to Montreal where she enjoys the vibrant and artistic offerings of the city. Aside from the arts, Genie enjoys travelling, karaoke, too much coffee, and being the first-ever staff of Dora Nola.

Katrine Claassens @katrineclaassens

ARTIST | Katrine has been cheering on Dora Nola's creation since its beginnings when she and Manuela worked together as designers, bonding over a love of all things beautiful! Katrine Claassens is an artist whose work reflects her interests in climate change, deep ecology, urban ecology, and internet memes. As well as practicing as a painter, Katrine has worked as climate change communicator at various organisations in South Africa and Canada. She has led workshops, given public lectures and curated exhibitions all over the world from the Arctic to Antarctica. Katrine was a hand model, advisor, and overall cheerleader for Dora Nola.

KayShauna Koj N'kansah @thachoxolatehigh

MODEL | On top of studying Public Relations and Communication, KayShauna is a versatile Model, Artist, and Creative Director. She loves to collaborate by adding her unique touch to brands she's worn and styled, such as New Regime, Blunts and Kicks, and Cheyma Girl. While being featured on the catwalks of various fashion shows around the city like Montreal Fashion Week, she's gotten the opportunity to be a glamorous canvas for Creatives to showcase their work, as she looks forward to a bright future in fashion, media, and entertainment. Santhiya Gnanamehan @santhiya_gnanamehan

MODEL | "I have a huge passion for acting and I love being in front of the camera. I've worked on music videos, as well as with many fashion brands in Canada. The breakthrough in my career was when I was published in a international magazine. My positive and confident attitude has allowed me to build many long-lasting and valuable relationships, and my outgoing personality and good sense of humour make me easy to work with. I like to be challenged and I like to push the expectations of others and challenge them back."

Mai-Anne Nguyen @maiannenguyen

MODEL | Mai-Anne was born in Montreal from a Vietnamese father and Quebecois mother and celebrates local brands and businesses “I’ve always been creative and artistic, and since 2016 I’ve worked on many projects as photographer or assistant, but it’s only in 2020 that I decided to try modelling. I love working with a team, challenging myself by going out of my comfort zone, and discover new styles. I am currently studying marketing, and I plan to make the most of all aspects of my skills to the maximum! Working with Dora Nola was a superb experience, I got to discover a new Quebecois business, meet new people and have lots of fun! I love the selection of products from Dora Nola, the scarves are beautiful, soft, and perfect to enhance any outfit!”
