Manuela Jarry drew this garden for her daughter, Rosie. She looked to Art Deco for its rhythm and structure, then chose an unexpected palette and worked it until it felt elegant: soft lavender, cream, warm ochre and a navy so dark it reads almost black.

Rosie’s Garden has become one of our best-loved designs, mostly because it gets along with everything. Wear it with a camel coat, grey knit, denim or a simple black dress, and the colours do the talking without competing with the rest of your outfit.
