Montreal Silk Carré 90
Manuela Jarry drew this design for her boutique in Old Montreal, tucked inside La Cour des Arts, where she fell in love with her city all over again. It’s a souvenir with a sense of humour, made to be worn rather than kept in a drawer.
Look closely and the city appears: the Farine Five Roses sign, the Biosphère, the Jacques Cartier Bridge and Habitat 67, one of Manuela’s favourite pieces of architecture ever. A few fawns graze in a corner, a quiet nod to the South Shore. Above it all, a massive sun lights up blues, pinks, greens and touches of black.
The colours are bright and cheerful, with enough black to anchor them, so the scarf livens up a navy coat or a plain white shirt without fighting it.

Care

Dry cleaning is preferable, but silk can also be hand washed gently, following our Product Care guide. Fold marks from the box relax on their own, or with a little steam or a cool iron on the silk setting, through a thin cloth.
How to wear

- Neck: folded into a band and knotted loosely, or draped open over a coat
- Shoulders: unfolded as a light wrap on cooler evenings
- Hair: as a headband or a wrap around a low bun
- Bag: knotted around the handle for colour
