Prism Silk Neckerchief 50
Prism is a hand-drawn design by Canadian artist Manuela Jarry, in which the landscape becomes a play of shapes and colour. Hills and horizons turn abstract, colours wander where they please, and you’re left with the feeling of a view that keeps unfolding as far as the eye can see. Painters she has long admired echo quietly in the background, Lawren S. Harris and the Group of Seven, Nicolas Party too, yet the palette is unmistakably hers: electric pink, deep burgundy, teal, lavender and cream, with a fine thread of gold running through.
The neckerchief brings that landscape close. Folded into a band and knotted at the neck, it lets the teal and pink come forward; worn loose, more of the composition opens up. With a grey sweater, a trench or a simple black top, it becomes the piece people ask you about.

Care

Silk is happiest at the dry cleaner, but it can also be hand washed in cool water with a gentle silk detergent; never wring it, just lay it flat to dry. New silk can show light folds from its packaging: a few seconds of steam or an iron on the silk setting (with a cloth between the iron and the scarf) will smooth them out. How to wear

Small enough to tie in a few seconds, large enough to make a real knot, the 50 format adapts to your day.
At the neck: folded into a band and knotted on the side, or tied loosely in a classic cowboy knot
In the hair: as a headband, wrapped around a ponytail or a low bun
On a bag: tied around the handle for a pop of colour
On the wrist: folded thin and wrapped like a bracelet
