Midnight Garden Silk Carré 90
Manuela Jarry has always loved irises, the emblematic flower of Quebec. For Midnight Garden, she wanted a motif that felt rich and a little mysterious, as if you had stepped into a garden after dark. Her hand-drawn design is inspired by Van Gogh’s iris paintings, with blooms layered in [jewel tones of violet and deep blue] against a night-dark background.
Look closer and you’ll find two cats slipping through the flowers, one black and one white. Manuela added them for fellow animal lovers, herself included. Depending on how you fold the carré, one cat shows, then the other, and sometimes both.
This is the scarf for a winter coat that needs some depth, or for an evening outfit that calls for colour without getting loud. Designed in Quebec by Canadian artist Manuela Jarry.

Care

Silk likes gentle treatment. Dry cleaning is best, but you can also hand wash it in cool water with a mild silk detergent, then let it dry flat, away from direct sunlight. To remove folds, use an iron on low heat (silk setting) on the reverse side, or let a little steam work its magic. All the details are on our Product Care page.
How to wear

A carré 90 gives you room to play, so it can change roles throughout the week:
- Folded into a triangle and knotted loosely around the neck, over a coat or a simple sweater
- Folded into a band and tied as a headscarf or wrapped around a low bun
- Knotted to the handle of a bag for a touch of colour
- Draped over the shoulders like a light shawl on a cool evening
